It is with the greatest pleasure that I can announce the imminent National Platform I in Fribourg, a.k.a. HalloweeNP!
The date of the event is drawing closer, and I would hereby like to invite all sections to participate.
The OC and CT have conducted an outstanding job so far, and would like to thank them in advance for the trust we, the National Board, could put in them.
The venue in Fribourg could be seen as a symbol of our (typically Swiss) multilingual identity, on the border of the infamous "Röstigraben", arguably the birthplace of the famous fondue, and in an incredibly active students' city.
This NP will take place starting on
Friday, October 30th running restlessly until Sunday, November 1st.
Its very central location is ideal for travelling from all corners of Switzerland. And as usual, the National Board on demand will reimburse travel expenses for 2 participants per section. We can also provide you with an invitation letter in case you wish that your International Relations Office would cover more participant costs, or you need a proof of invitation for your employers.
Please note that this years' NP’s program will start earlier. We are proud to announce that starting at 12:00 on Friday, a conference on the theme of “Switzerland and Erasmus+, a love-hate relationship” with numerous guest lecturers and stakeholders will take place.
Hoping to welcome the most of you already during Friday, the program will continue on Saturday & Sunday with the agenda prepared by Laura Giaquinto, your main chair for this upcoming NP, but will be more colourful, namely due to it collimating with Halloween! Don't forget to sign up in the below enclosed form.
The participation fee has been set to:
CHF 50.00 for participants spending two nights in Fribourg
CHF 45.00 for participants spending one night (regardless of which).
Laura, your main chair for this NP, will soon send you another email regarding the topics proposals. We would like to ask you to brainstorm with your local board and section members on what points you would like to discuss.
If you already have some suggestions, you may address them by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
Please don't forget to forward this email to your boards, and especially encourage the newest members to participate in this awesome event to show them the power and energy of ESN!
Looking forward to seeing and hearing from you soon,
In the name of the National Board of ESN Switzerland,
