From the 20th to the 22nd of October, the National Platform I 2017/2018 of ESN Switzerland took place. This NP was hosted by ESN Basel under the theme “Magical Creatures”. As expected, it was a great opportunity for the local ESN sections to come together and improve the skills of their members.
The plenaries comprised of presentations which informed the sections about changes and decisions in the network. Aside from that, participants were given the chance to take part in different workshops organized by local members and international guests. In the evenings, everyone was treated to a great social program organized by the OC. This included a fondue meal, parties and of course the famous costume contest on Saturday. Choosing the winner was - without a doubt - a difficult task because of the impressiveness of the costumes of each section.
The NP marked the beginning of the new academic year for the members of ESN Switzerland. Friendships were developed and strengthened. At the end of the day, the members of ESN Switzerland returned with a lot of new motivation to their cities.
Simply put: NP Basel was a great success! Everyone is already looking forward to the next NP in Geneva...
